Private Room with own kitchen @ Liverpool street

Positive: Cheap apt, close to bus stations. Negative: Tiny and very dirty appartment, unrealistic pictures on the website. Very few equipments (2 dirty spoons, 1 knife, ...)

Positive: Hledali jsme náhradní ubytování na jednu noc, hostitel reagoval okamžitě, poslal kod ke klíčům i wifi. Komunikace bezproblémová. Jen na přespání vyhovující

Positive: Local acessivel! E anfitrião atencioso... Negative: Muito quente!Poderia ter um ventilador...

Lamentable limpieza Positive: La ubicación es lo único que se salva. Negative: La habitación no se asemejaba a ninguna de las imágenes. Estaba completamente sucia. Había un armario que estaba prácticamente para caerse. La cama era incómoda. La cocina y los utensilios de cocina estaban sucios. Hacia mucho calor y la persiana no tenía para subirse. La ventana cerraba mal. Los electrodomésticos estaban en mal estado o sucios. El baño dejaba mucho que desear en cuanto a limpieza.

I travel globally quite a bit and this was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. Positive: The location Negative: The bed mattress and pillows were very worn down, uncomfortable and very smelly along with bedding like it was never washed. The walls were filthy with cob webs hanging from the ceiling. I addressed the broken dryer and nothing was done. The building itself was very noisy, other renters were very loud not respecting the 10pm - 8am quiet time which is clearly in the rental policy. A staff walked into my room one morning without knocking. Other tenants were leaving the main front door unlocked. I contacted the property manager to address one tenant regarding late night noise and leaving the front door unlocked so their friends who did not rent there could come in. He dealt with the situation immediately and then proceeded to chat me up on WhatsApp after telling me he would “love to take me for a coffee”. As a solo female traveller from the other side of the world, it left me feeling very afraid for my safety and unsure of what to do because this has never happened to me before. It was too costly to relocate on such short notice and I didn’t have anyone locally to help me.
